David DePape, the illegal alien who in October 2022, entered the Napa Valley home of CA Rep. and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and bludgeoned Pelosi’s husband Paul with a hammer, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Paul Pelosi attacker David DePape was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Friday, following his conviction for assault and attempted kidnapping of a federal official.
Prosecutors had sought 40 years, the BBC reported.
The October 2022 incident saw DePape attack Pelosi, now 84, with a hammer at the latter’s San Francisco home. He had been in search of Paul’s wife, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Paul sustained a skull fracture as well as injuries to arm.
