There are Democrat Senators who are the gifts that keep on giving, and that was certainly the case Tuesday as President-Elect Donald Trump’s Secretary of Defense nominee, Pete Hegseth, entered into the lion’s den better known as the Senate Armed Services Committee for his confirmation hearing.
As we reported, sparks flew early on between Hegseth and Democrat committee members like Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), who imploded while giving her statement on the allegedly “brutal” and “mean” nature of comments previously made by Hegseth on how, in his view, women should not serve in frontline combat roles, and how DEI/woke “standards” for recruitment and promotion make the military weak and a laughing stock to other nations, not stronger and viewed with respect.
