White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced on Tuesday that the Philadelphia Eagles “enthusiastically accepted” an invitation to come to the White House and celebrate the team’s Super Bowl victory.
During the weekly press briefing, Leavitt said she wanted to clear up some fake news about whether or not the White House had extended an invitation to the team, making it clear they had, and that the team was coming following the Eagles’ victory against the Kansas City Chiefs during Super Bowl LIX.
“I can confirm that the Philadelphia Eagles will be here at the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory,” Leavitt said.
