Earlier today, we looked at the suspiciously large number of FBI agents and paid informants who were involved in the January 6 riot on Capitol Hill, along with other federal law enforcement personnel. One prominent figure suspected of being in that group was Ray Epps, a man captured on video multiple times both the night before Trump’s rally and during the attack on the Capitol Building. His participation wasn’t particularly subtle, either. But after initially being shown on the FBI’s Capitol Violence website (which is still up and running), Epps mysteriously vanished. This only added fuel to the imaginations of those who believed he was at least a paid informant if not an undercover agent himself. Well, this week Epps was finally arrested.
