Rep. Harriet Hageman on Trump and Living the American Dream

What a difference two months or so can make. Just since President Donald Trump took office on Jan. 20, Rep. Harriet Hageman says she has seen “a lot of hope” among Americans. 

“We are in the middle of a renaissance, and when I’m home, I feel that,” Hageman, R-Wyo., said. 

America is a “land of opportunity,” she added, explaining she sees a spirit of freedom and optimism coming out of the Trump administration. By contrast, the Wyoming congresswoman says that what “comes out of the Biden administration and Democrat authority is control and dictatorship and telling us that everything is bad.” 

Hageman, 62, has experienced the rich opportunities America offers firsthand. When Hageman’s parents brought her home from the hospital, they had five children under the age of six, were $200,000 in debt, and only had $35 in their bank account.
