Residents of another San Francisco neighborhood are fed up with crime and homelessness

In August the Castro Merchant’s Association sent a letter to San Francisco city leaders threatening to stop paying taxes if the city didn’t do more to deal with crime, drugs and homelessness in the neighborhood. “Our community is struggling to recover from lost business revenue, from burglaries and never-ending vandalism/graffiti (often committed by unhoused persons) and we implore you to take action,” the letter read.Read More
