Hollywood star Rob Lowe celebrated all that veterans and first responders have done in a Super Bowl LIX ad that most people probably didn’t see even though it aired during the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 victory against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
In the 30 second ad — which only aired in local markets in Colorado and Wyoming — Lowe provides a voice over for an ad for the White Heart Foundation, a charity that focuses on providing mental health support for veterans and first responders … according to its website.
“They’ve had our backs — now let’s have theirs,” Lowe captioned his post. “Veterans and first responders face unique mental health challenges, but they don’t have to face them alone.”
“Our program provides the support, resources, and community they deserve,” he added. “Join us in making a difference and give hope today. Visit Whiteheart.org.”
