Bill Maher was brutally honest during Friday’s episode of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher. Maher acknowledged that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, “wasn’t wrong” as he battled woke activism.
Maher used his “New Rules” segment to rail against Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV docuseries. It was refreshing to hear a left-coast elite take wokeism to task, especially as it pertains to the treatment of children. The docuseries is truly disturbing. I watched most of it after reading all the buzz about it and, to be honest, I couldn’t finish the series. The topic is pedophilia in Hollywood, in particular on the sets of Nickelodeon shows.
The stories and video clips used to prove accusations were stomach-turning, to say the least. Maher weighed in and he was correct in his response.
