We now know what former Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel’s next gig is, and nobody will be shocked. Like her high-spending predecessor Michael Steele, McDaniel will be enlightening America with her political insights over at NBC/MSNBC.

The hire adds a reliably conservative voice to NBC’s stable of political analysts. Ms. McDaniel is also expected to provide commentary on MSNBC, NBC’s left-leaning cable cousin and a network that former President Donald J. Trump and his allies often accuse of being an arm of the Democratic Party.
“Reliably conservative” in the vein of WaPo’s token “conservative” Jennifer Rubin? Or Ana Navarro, who purports to represent a conservative worldview on The View? Charlie Sykes, founder of The Bulwark, is also over at MSNBC.
