Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) slammed President Joe Biden for starting to cave on his position on Israel, saying it’s because he is worried about losing support from anti-Semitic Democrats in swing states ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
Rubio made the remarks during a wide-ranging Sunday interview with Jonathan Karl on ABC News’ “This Week” as Rubio’s name begins to be floated as a potential vice presidential pick for former President Donald Trump.
“I’ll be frank. I think the president is worried about losing Minnesota and Michigan,” Rubio said. “He’s getting a lot of pressure from the pro-Hamas wing of the Democratic Party, a lot of activists and people like that.”
