The Department of Justice failed to prosecute a prominent figure in the Russia Hoax scandal even though it possessed documentary evidence proving she had perjured herself during testimony. According to a report released by Senator Charles Grassley’s Judiciary Committee, Nellie Ohr, a researcher with Hillary Clinton’s opposition research contractor, Fusion GPS, and wife of Deputy Associate Attorney General Bruce Ohr, lied on multiple occasions during her Senate testimony. Former Representative Mark Meadows who then headed the House Oversight Committee filed a criminal referral in 2019 accusing Nellie Ohr of lying about her role in developing and disseminating the “Steele Dossier.” Documents finally declassified by the FBI show the allegation was investigated and substantiated, but no action was ever taken.
