Scott Adams Reveals Trump Called Him To ‘Check In’ After Terminal Cancer Diagnosis

“Dilbert” cartoonist Scott Adams said he received a call from President Donald Trump after announcing that he’d been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

“Somebody’s calling me from some number I don’t recognize, something in Florida and I sent it to voicemail. And a little bit later I thought, I better check that voicemail and see if that was anything I need to deal with. And the first sentence in the transcription, cause you know the phone gives you the text version of the voicemail as well. The first sentence is, ‘This is your favorite president.’ And I thought to myself, no, did I just send the most important person in the world to voicemail?” Adams told the audience of his “Real Coffee with Scott Adams” show.

The cartoonist said Trump left a message asking him to call him back, but he thought that was “ridiculous” because the president would be too busy.
