‘Screw Her’: Megyn Kelly Blasts Olivia Wilde’s Attack On Jordan Peterson, Says #MeToo Was ‘Never Meant To Bastardize Men’

On Thursday, Megyn Kelly slammed director Olivia Wilde’s attack on Dr. Jordan Peterson in her new film “Don’t Worry Darling.” Kelly said the movie is “a man bashing film,” according to what she’s read about it, with a #MeToo theme in which Peterson is depicted as “some sort of demon.”

During Sirius XM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast Thursday, the host spoke with Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro regarding Wilde’s comments about Peterson, which are an example of how the Left hates those who don’t fit into a certain category for political purposes, like young men.

“The nerve of Olivia Wilde to refer to Jordan Peterson as a pseudo intellectual as though she knows anything, I mean literally anything,” Kelly said, noting Wilde’s “incel” comment in which the actress/director compared Peterson to “disenfranchised mostly white men, who believe they are entitled to sex from woman,” and more.

Shapiro explained that Peterson’s philosophy is that men have a “purpose” and must “undergo struggle.” He said Peterson is right that “men do have toxic masculinity inside them and you have to battle that with being a gentlemen.”

The host noted that “in 2019, men accounted for 80% of all suicide deaths in America,” and explained that “studies also show that a majority of American men who die by suicide have no known history of mental health problems.”

“Because they don’t talk about them,” Kelly explained. “It’s not that they don’t have any mental health problems, they don’t talk about them. And when they do talk about them, and like Jordan Peterson, listen to Jorden Peterson, subscribe to Jordan Peterson or anybody else speaking about these issues, they get attacked. They get featured in an Olivia Wilde movie as some sort of demon, so screw her!”

“As somebody who was at the inception of the #MeToo Movement, I think I can say what those of us who were there at the beginning — and by the way, Olivia Wilde, you are not one of them,” she added. “Okay, you were not there. It was about just stopping men from making sexual favors at the office a condition of advancement.”

“Everyone agrees with that,” Kelly continued. “Men agree with that and women agree with that. It was never meant to bastardize men writ large. That’s what people like her are doing. And it’s having a serious negative effect.”
