Louisiana Senator John Kennedy continued his reign as the most quotable member of Congress with his latest description of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
In an interview with Fox News personality Sean Hannity, Kennedy described the Democratic New York congresswoman as only he can.
Hannity prompted the Republican senator by discussing how the resistance party has refused to pivot even an inch since they were wiped out in the election, noting they are now the party of the Squad, “grandpa Bernie [Sanders],” AOC, and Jasmine Crockett.
Kennedy replied that he believes “Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez is the leader of the Democratic Party today.”
He may very well be correct. The Democrats are now being led by some of the more extreme members of the party. And she’s the clear-cut leader of that clan. While that is scary for the nation in general, it should be frightening…
