Hunter Biden is dropping a lawsuit against a website that had circulated materials from the infamous “laptop from hell.”
He is doing so, he tells the judge, because his financial position has become “dire” and he is deeply in debt and apparently unable to continue paying his lawyers. Hence, he is asking for the lawsuit to be dismissed.

My first thought was, “gee, why didn’t his lawyers work on spec? If the lawsuit was so strong, perhaps they could be funded out of the 30% of winnings, right?”
