Saturday Night Live seems to be trying to make an effort at being funny again in its 50th anniversary year. It’s been messed up for so long by politics that it’s hard to remember now when they actually made you laugh.
But they’ve had a few bits lately where they managed to have some good moments. They had a nice bit last week where Dana Carvey was back to play Joe Biden, and he’s got him down, and they even hit the Dems on “the coup.”
Then this past Saturday they mocked Walz’s debate performance. We wrote earlier about some of it, where once again the class of the field was Carvey.
