It only took seven years, hundreds of thousands of repetitions of falsehoods, and a presidential campaign predicated on a lie for Snopes to fact-check a claim about President Trump praising White supremacists.

Joe Biden has pushed this hoax for years now, and even claimed he ran for president because Trump called White supremacists very fine people. Few people in the media ever contradicted this narrative, even though there was no question that it was false.
It will always be funny to me when Biden says how Trump’s “very fine people on both sides” line from Charlottesville was his inspiration to run for president.
