When you think of conservative commentator and Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro, the first thing to come to mind probably isn’t rap music. It might not have been high on his priority list, particularly considering the fact that he only recently told Lex Fridman on a podcast that rap “was not really music.” So imagine my surprise when I went on YouTube yesterday to check in on my own personal favorite rapper, Tom MacDonald, only to find that he had dropped a new single called “Facts” featuring a duet with none other than Shapiro. But how would the world receive this unexpected pairing? We didn’t have to wait long to find out. The song quickly went screaming up the charts to take the number one position on iTunes, beating out many legendary musical artists along the way.
