Special prosecutor Nathan Wade paid for Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis to accompany him on at least two trips in 2022 and 2023 after Willis had already hired him to oversee her RICO case against former President Donald Trump, court filings show.
Wade’s estranged wife, Joycelyn, submitted a court filing on Friday in the couple’s ongoing divorce case which included credit card statements. The statements showed that Wade had purchased plane tickets for himself and Willis to travel to San Francisco and Miami over the past year and a half, according to the filing, NBC News reported.
