Seemingly by the hour, Joe Biden’s quest for a second term swirls farther down the drain as more Democrat lawmakers call for the dazed and confused president to drop out of the race.
Now, a fifth House Democrat has called for Biden to drop out, and her statement explaining why is the best I’ve yet read. Minnesota Rep. Angie Craig said in a statement on X:
As an elected leader, I feel a responsibility to be honest about what I believe, even when it’s hard to hear. President Biden is a good man & I appreciate his lifetime of service. But I believe he should step aside for the next generation of leadership. The stakes are too high.
