CPAC loves Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. In the dictionary, next to the phrase “Red Meat for the Base,” you might find his picture. While the Left and some on the Right use this as a pejorative, it is actually foundational. Red meat has vitamins and nutrients that plant-based and poultry foods lack. Red meat is substantial, and red meat satiates.
Miller entered the CPAC stage, relaxed and bouncy, to raucous applause, and opened with this upbeat greeting.
