WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Houthi terrorists on Monday: stop shooting at the United States ships, or “the real pain is yet to come.”
The president released his statement on social media, adding that “the Iran-backed Houthi Terrorists have been decimated by the relentless strikes over the past two weeks.”
“Many of their Fighters and Leaders are no longer with us,” Trump said. “We hit them every day and night — Harder and harder. Their capabilities that threaten Shipping and the Region are rapidly being destroyed.”
The president promised that these attacks will not stop until the Houthis cease shooting at American ships.
