‘Strings Attached’ To Any U.S. Money Given To California After Democrats Mismanaged Fires

Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (R-WY) said during an interview over the weekend that if Congress approves any U.S. taxpayer money to help aid in the recovery of the historic fires in California that it will come with “strings attached” because of how poorly Democrats have mismanaged the fires.

Barrasso made the remarks during a Sunday interview on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” with Margaret Brennan as the fires continue to burn in Southern California where they have caused tens of billions of dollars in damage and killed more than a dozen people.
