I hooked up with a good friend and my son on Sunday to shoot various firearms, including a couple of AR-15s and several semi-automatic handguns. During our almost three hours of shooting, I’m happy to report that at no time did any of the firearms arrayed on the table before us attempt to commit a violent crime.
This brings us to my latest ridiculous gun-grabbing report.
U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy bowed to gun-grabbing Joe Biden on Tuesday and issued a new advisory declaring so-called “firearm violence” a “public health crisis.” In his announcement, Murthy also called for a ban on so-called “assault weapons” and large-capacity magazines for civilian use.
Murthy said in his statement:
Firearm violence is an urgent public health crisis that has led to loss of life, unimaginable pain, and profound grief for far too many Americans.
