The suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer’s wife now says her husband is “not capable of the crimes he is accused of,” according to a statement from her attorney.
The wife, who is not suspected of any crimes and will not be named because The Daily Wire is not naming her husband, filed for divorce just days after her husband was arrested for multiple murders committed more than a decade ago. Now, however, she says she is giving him “the benefit of the doubt,” ABC News reported.
“I will listen to all of the evidence and withhold judgment until the end of trial,” the wife said in a statement on Wednesday released through her attorney, Bob Macedonio. “I have given him the benefit of the doubt, as we all deserve.”
