Of all the countries in Europe you would expect to be liberal on immigration policies, Sweden and Denmark would be near the top of the list.
We all know that Poland and Hungary are standing firm on border issues. Georgia Meloni in Italy won on a “get strict “policy on immigration.
But Sweden and Denmark? Yep. It turns out that they are now hard core when it comes to taking back their countries. Sweden is even paying migrants to pack up and leave.
In other words, they’re going in the direction of Danish policy. It’ll be interesting to see if this succeeds and who follows on after them.
