Danny Gianfrancesco refuses to be silenced and is still demanding justice for the March 25 assault on his daughter, Brooklynn, by a male football player. Gianfrancesco stated that Brooklynn had been harassed for quite some time by the football player, who also initiated the altercation. Had the incident not been recorded by another student and gone viral on social media, this vicious and unsolicited assault would have been swept under the rug by Taylor High School and the Katy Independent School District (Katy ISD).
But what is even more upsetting to Gianfrancesco and the Katy, TX community, is the actions taken by the high school administrators and Katy ISD. As RedState reported, the school administrators used the district’s self-defense policy to deem the fight a “mutual confrontation” and suspended both Brooklynn and the football player for three days….
