As predicted, the meltdowns Democrats were having prior to President Donald Trump giving his joint address to Congress Tuesday night carried over into the speech itself, with ping pong paddles containing anti-Trump messaging being flashed, “feminist” Democrats wearing pink with political messaging on it, and repeated interruptions of Trump’s speech happening in its first few minutes.
In one of the more dramatic moments, Rep. Al Green (D-TX), who was the first Congressman in this session to declare on the House floor his intentions to try and have Trump impeached, was escorted out by the House Sergeant in Arms at the direction of House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) after repeated interruptions and refusal to sit down as he waved his cane at the POTUS.
