Joe Biden addressed the nation, briefly and an hour and a half late, on the Senate border bill Tuesday. It did not go well.
He also spoke about Ukraine because Ukraine funding was the reason that securing the southern border was even being considered. Republicans, for once, tried to use leverage. They insisted there be a bill on border security to vote on aid to Ukraine and Israel. Clear enough. Joe Biden is desperate to provide tens of billions in aid to Ukraine and that is his focus.
The speech was classic demented Biden. He slurred and mumbled his words as he squinted to read his speech. Biden is pleased with the border bill which should be a huge red flag. This is the man who until recent weeks denied that the border open. He denied that there was a problem with the southern border.
