The Stench of Panic Is In the Air on Social Media – HotAir

Things like this use to bother me, but I have been hardened by spending two years glued to Twitter/X. 

As you might imagine, Twitter is vital to my job. It is where EVERYTHING shows up first. Within seconds of something happening, you see it on Twitter/X. There is a lot of BS on there too, and I like to joke that my Twitter feed is like a sewer with diamonds scattered among the muck. 





There are tons of liars, rumor mongers, journalists (same thing, really, as the liars and rumor mongers), influencers, citizen journalists, and normal people all thrown together. You can learn a lot but also get infuriated if you take the trolls (and journalists) too seriously. 

You can learn a lot by looking at the stream of information, commentary, articles, studies, polls, and nuggets of information that flow in the intertubes on Twitter. And the thing that I have learned…
