Actually, no. Amazon is apparently paying for the story to be published, which is super kind of them, and I am sure that Time is thrilled to get money to print fake stories written by others for a few bucks.
“Presented by Amazon” is a fancy way to say “not our writing” in MSM-speak. It’s made to look like it went through Time’s editorial process, but that is a slight of hand.
As is the whole “powered by the sun’ pitch upon which the many mushy paragraphs at the beginning of this ridiculous piece. We get all sorts of warm and fuzzy woo woo about the wonders of the sun…
