Every now and then, one comes across such a self-important, sanctimonious, self-righteous nitwit, such an obvious portrayal of the Dunning-Kruger effect, that it makes one’s eyes roll so hard you can see the inside of your skull. When that eye-rolling moment comes from a talking head on MSNBC, though, it’s anything but surprising – this is, after all, the home of Rachel Maddow.
This time the eye-roll came from a talking head named Alex Witt.
MSNBC correspondent Priya Sridhar was corrected on-air by network anchor Alex Witt on Sunday after using the term “illegal aliens” instead of “undocumented immigrants.”
