It’s funny how losing a presidential election completely unhinges some people—and by some people, I mean Democrats. Al Gore never got over his narrow loss in 2000 (and if I were Ralph Nader, I’d still be cautious about showing my face at any gathering of Florida Democrats), while Her Imperial Majesty Hillary I, Dowager-Empress of Chappaqua’s 2016 loss to Donald Trump still has her stuck in that famous state that isn’t just a river in Egypt.
Kamala Harris seems to have found solace in some liquid comestibles, causing her vaunted word salads to be even more tossed in her infrequent public appearances. She’s still leading the polls for the 2028 Democrat presidential nomination, which should tell you how deep in the doo-doo the Democrats are.
Her former running mate, though, is starting to make noises about being the Democrat’s 2028 savior. The only problem…
