The White House has been playing word games in the context of the Hurricane Helene disaster, calling questions about how the government has responded and concerns over the distribution of FEMA money “misinformation.”
We reported on that earlier when White House Press Secretary and new “Senior Adviser” Karine Jean-Pierre bristled at being asked how the White House can have money to give $157 million to Lebanon but then tell us they’re running out of money for FEMA if there’s more storm damage after Helene. KJP had a fit, called it misinformation, and walked out.
Karine Jean-Pierre has a VERY difficult time explaining why Kamala and Biden can send billions to Lebanon, but don’t have enough to fund disaster assistance in North Carolina.
She eventually gets mad and walks out of the room. pic.twitter.com/hTaIfHdwIN
