A transgender actor claimed that he suffered a “human rights violation” late last week after being “misgendered” by a Delta Airlines employee.
Tommy Dorfman, a man who claims that he is a woman, was the person allegedly holding the camera at New York-LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) when he says that an employee with Delta Airlines misgendered him.
In the video, Dorfman complains that he was “misgendered” because the airline employee called him a “he.”
“It wasn’t intentional, but if you want to take it personal, that’s also okay,” the employee responded.
Dorfman continued by complaining that another woman “intentionally” misgendered him twice.
