President Donald Trump’s secretary of agriculture, Brooke Rollins, has canceled a $600,000 grant to study menstrual cycles in biological females who identify as men.
The American Principles Project first uncovered the grant to Southern University and Agricultural & Mechanical College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
“CANCELLED: $600,000 grant to study ‘menstrual cycles in transgender men,’” Rollins posted Friday on X.
“Keep sending us tips. THANK YOU, @approject! The insanity is ending, and the restoration of America is underway,” she added.
The grant description says it is important to recognize that “transgender men and people with masculine gender identities, intersex and nonbinary persons may also menstruate.”
