One of the most successful weapons of the left, along with their cohorts in the corrupt media, is to redefine the meanings of everyday words or just change the term altogether. Abortion and the termination of viable pregnancies constitute “reproductive health care.” “Women” are anything and everything you decide they are. The homeless are the “unhoused,” or recently and more and more ridiculously, “people experiencing homelessness.”
Some of the more idiotic attempts—like “LatinX” and “birthing people”—have mostly gone down in flames because they’re just so idiotic that even some progressives shy away from them. But others are, like renaming kids’ taking hormones and getting life-altering unnecessary surgeries “gender-affirming care.”
It’s disgusting, but all too often, it works.
