The Trump team continues to roll out Cabinet picks, and on Monday evening, they announced that former Wisconsin congressman Sean Duffy is the president-elect’s choice to become Secretary of Transportation.
If confirmed, he will take the reins from current secretary Pete Buttigieg, who struggled in the role, to put it mildly.
In a campaign email, the Trump-Vance Transition Team praised Duffy:
I am pleased to announce that former Congressman Sean Duffy, from the Great State of Wisconsin, is nominated to serve as the Secretary of Transportation.
