Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed late on Sunday that former President Donald Trump serving food at a McDonald’s and X owner Elon Musk giving away $1 million a day to boost voter turn out efforts was an example of the two men mocking working class Americans.
The socialist lawmaker’s remarks come after Trump served supporters food at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania on Sunday in an effort to call attention to Vice President Kamala Harris’ unsubstantiated claims that she worked at the fast food chain growing up.
Musk, meanwhile, has been aggressively hitting the campaign trail to boost voter turnout for the former president. Musk has been giving away $1 million every day until Election Day to a random person who signs his America PAC petition that pledges support for the First and Second Amendments.
