As RedState reported earlier, actress/singer Selena Gomez posted a video to her Instagram page Monday in which she was sobbing to the point of being hard to understand and in which she was seemingly addressing new illegal immigration policies under the Trump administration related to the repatriations of criminal elements.
“I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked. The children. I don’t understand,” she said in between sobs, as the words “I’m sorry” appeared in the foreground along with an image of the Mexican flag.
“I’m so sorry. I wish I could do something, but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise,” Gomez, who by her own admission is a “proud third-generation American-Mexican,” also stated.
