Former President Donald Trump reportedly brought in tens of millions of dollars during an exclusive campaign fundraising event over the weekend.
The Trump campaign and Republican National Committee (RNC) announced that Trump’s Palm Beach dinner raised “over $50.5 million – smashing every fundraising record in history for a Republican or Democrat.”
The statement noted that President Joe Biden’s recent event in New York — which featured former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton — raised only half of what Trump raised on Saturday night.
“Tonight will be an incredible night for President Trump and the Republican Party, raising an astounding $50.5 million,” the Trump campaign said in a statement. “It’s clearer than ever that we have the message, the operation, and the money to propel President Trump to victory on November 5.”
