President Donald Trump signed an executive order Friday to defund schools with COVID-19 vaccination mandates.
The directive comes one day after the confirmation of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who has raised questions about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine.
The executive order also applies to education service agencies, and state and local education agencies, Breitbart first reported. This action is in line with Trump’s campaign promise to “not allow schools to impose COVID mandates.”
“I will not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate or a mask mandate,” he said during his campaign.
