Former President Donald Trump announced Sunday that he will do something no high-ranking member of the Biden-Harris administration has done: visit some of the areas devastated by Hurricane Helene. On Monday, Trump will be in Valdosta, GA, to talk to recovery teams and help deliver relief supplies. Over 90% of Lowndes County, GA, for which Valdosta is the county seat, is still without power.
The fairly useless head of the Biden-Harris Federal Emergency Management Agency, longtime emergency management apparatchik Deanne Criswell, says she will get around to visiting the massive disaster area spanning four states “as soon as it is possible.” [OPINION: if you can’t be bothered to move your headquarters to the sound of the guns, maybe you should just pack your s*** and get off the battlefield.]
Somehow, Trump making political hay out of this is wrong, never mind that only weeks…
