Common sense was clearly on the agenda at Monday’s White House meeting between President Trump and El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, during which the two leaders offered comments from the Oval Office on everything from deportations and tariffs to Iran’s nuclear capabilities and men playing in women’s sports. The two presidents clearly get along well, with Trump noting he’s known Bukele for a long time, and voiced a shared appreciation for common sense solutions to their respective countries’ problems.
