President Donald Trump said on Monday evening that he is endorsing two Republican candidates running for governor in Arizona, calling them both “terrific people.”
Trump previously threw his support behind Karrin Taylor Robson, an Arizona businesswoman who launched her campaign in February, leaning into the president’s endorsement. Now, Trump is also expressing support for Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) after the congressman jumped into the race in late January.
“I like Karrin Taylor Robson of Arizona a lot, and when she asked me to Endorse her, with nobody else running, I Endorsed her, and was happy to do so,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “When Andy Biggs decided to run for Governor, quite unexpectedly, I had a problem — Two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions, and it is therefore my Great Honor TO GIVE MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT TO BOTH….
