Former President Donald Trump holds a lead over President Joe Biden in Georgia, a crucial swing state, just before the two face off in the first presidential debate, a recent poll found.
Trump holds a 5-point lead over the Democratic incumbent with the two garnering 43 percent and 38 percent of likely Georgia voters, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution poll found. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came in third at nine percent, the poll also found, while eight percent said that they were undecided.
One percent said that they would not vote, while another one percent said they will vote for Libertarian Chase Oliver, and another one percent said they will vote for a different candidate.
