It is becoming clear that lowering the bar so dramatically for President Biden’s debate performance is a mistake. At least I hope it is becoming clear.
It’s time to face the fact that no matter what happens during the first presidential debate on CNN, Biden will be declared the winner against former President Trump. Unless something drastic happens, like Biden trips and falls or completely freezes as he is speaking, he will be named the winner.
That’s politics. That is how Republicans are always treated. Presidential debates are planned and executed to benefit the Democrat candidate.
