The Trump campaign said Thursday that Vice President Kamala Harris was “still a San Francisco radical” after she claimed multiple times in a CNN interview that her values “have not changed” when asked about her shifting stances on issues from fracking to illegal immigration.
Harris’s comments came during a pre-recorded interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, which was conducted alongside vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, that aired Thursday evening. It was Harris’s first sit-down interview since she became the de facto Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden announced he was dropping out of the race.
“It’s been well over a month since Kamala Harris became the Democrat nominee and she finally decided to give an interview,” the Trump campaign said. “Kamala said her values ‘have not changed’ three separate times. She’s still a San Francisco radical.”
