As RedState reported, President Donald Trump gave an impromptu presser while on Capitol Hill on Tuesday. While discussions about the upcoming reconciliation bill were the highlight, he was also asked about the recent criminal indictment of Rep. LaMonica McIvers, and fireworks ensued.
If you’re unfamiliar with the case, McIvers was filmed shoving and throwing punches at ICE agents as she and other Democrats attempted to bull rush into an ICE facility in New Jersey. While she initially played the victim, the evidence appeared to show her as the clear aggressor, and the Department of Justice decided to move forward.
