President Donald Trump will speak at a Saudi Arabia-backed summit on Wednesday in Miami, just a day after Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Russian officials in Riyadh.
The FII Priority Summit is hosted by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund and attended by global tech executives and financiers, Reuters first reported. The president will deliver remarks at the summit, several people with knowledge of the event told Reuters. FII describes itself as a “global non-profit foundation” with interests in AI and robotics, education, healthcare, and more.
According to White House scheduling, Trump will participate in the summit at 5:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday and will return to the White House Wednesday evening.
